Mastering the Knee Complex
In this course you will learn rehabilitation practices which are in line with current evidence based medical guidelines for the knee complex. This course will cover everything from the examination process to in-depth discussion on various topics regarding the knee such as ACL pathology, meniscus injuries, patellofemoral pain, cartilage pathology, and the arthritic knee. This course will also investigate proper post-surgical interventions for different procedures.

Instructor
Dr. Shelby Mecke, D.C. grew up in Bulverde playing soccer, softball, and racing. Dr. Mecke, DC graduated from Texas A&M in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in health and began her path toward chiropractic by working with Steven Stratton, PT from 2015 until 2018 as a physical therapy technician. With 3 years of successfully helping patients recover from injury and lead a better life under her belt Dr. Mecke, DC decided to take on the role of becoming a chiropractor and enrolled at Parker University in 2018. Upon graduating with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and getting licensed in 2021 she returned to Stratton Sport & Spine and has continued helping patients their ever since. Dr. Mecke, D.C. is certified in Webster Technique and has gained a certification in Active Release Technique in addition to having completed extensive training and education in Trigger Point Dry Needling.
